This is a one-use Android app that may come in handy: a way to quickly drop the volume of whatever music / app you’re listening to by putting your hand over the phone – it works using the proximity sensor. It’s pretty cool actually, giving one the sense having control and telekinetic power and an unwavering sense of power, over your Android. For a brief moment. I’m still trying to figure out if it will work when my alarm clock goes off whenever I choose for it to — and then I raise my hand and say, ‘Let me sleep!’ and then it goes off.
It should be useful during university lectures next year as well, I always seem to leave the sound on, get an email, make a noise, and get glares from the lecturer and the students and feel an emerging super-ego guilt-like sensation.
But, other than the above — you should try out this little app if you want to.
Get it here.
Thanks for the comment. I’m the developer… Cheers!
Thanks for checking out the site! Let me know if you want me to review any more of your applications :}
Thanks! Will do.
Right now I’m working in easyMute v2.0 with new features and a JB 4.2 redesign, sharing it with my new “secret project” (sshhhh!!), but it’ll take still some time to see the light.
Cheers!
Awesome, looking forward to trying them out — let me know when they’re done!
By the way, nice name for your site… I love it.
Being able to turn your alarm off so easily could be a double edged weapon. In my case it would definitely make me miss a lot of university lessions.
That’s why it will come as an option XD
